Forever Young School

This school is run by Billy Johnson's (see my other post) son, Brigham, and daughter-in-law.  They are wonderful people.   They struggle to make ends meet but have about 400 children attending the school, with about 50 or 60 boarding there.

The large meeting room is also used for Church meetings and District conferences.  Brigham is the one who has built the school buildings and they are currently adding on a section that will be used for technical training, such as sewing, hair dressing, and others.  We were impressed.

Elder Gay has helped support the school as well as Steve Young.   They have teachers that come when they can give a bit of time and help out and train their teachers.  They teach in the American way which encourages the children to think rather than just memorize.

The picture of the man with the two boys ---- is Clarence Baah Kofi, our water/borehole site monitor.  He was a Bishop in Accra and these two boys are from his ward.  They came running when they saw him and hugged him!  Heart warming!!

The girls on the motorcycle are sisters and were getting picked up to go home after school.
